Have you ever met someone who feels like sunshine?
Well, that is my baby sister, Hannah. Not only that, but she is also THE lady you want elevating your natural born beauty with her incredible permanent makeup skills. Her hands have been working magic creating PMU art on thousands of faces for 6 years. She is a business icon as the founder/owner of Belle and Brow Studios in Alberta, Canada.
She has also spent years working with the American Academy of Micropigmentation and has become a pillar in the permanent makeup community both in terms of her artistry and her education as she has moved into the world of teaching other artists to help them achieve the best results with their permanent makeup techniques.
To know Hannah is to know someone who has a heart that simply can’t stand the thought of someone in need and without any help. From a very young age, think kindergarten lunchbox swaps and crayon sharing, Hannah would see a person in need and she would give her last dollar to help them. She has worked so very hard to build an incredible business and life for herself, all along the way helping and inspiring others. Hannah’s compassion and her ability to see the magic in all people are truly some of her greatest gifts, and she is able to nurture, teach, and uplift others and we should all be so lucky to have her in our lives. She has transferred this unique ability to uplift others to her work in permanent makeup. When you’re on the slab with Hannah, you are not only going to walk away with a gorgeous work of art on your body, but also a resounding sense of love and acceptance.
Arguably her most important work has been that of creating the most precious of lives in her darling daughter. If you thought that Hannah was incredible in her professional life, you should see her as a mother. MEGAN
Megan, let me tell you about my big sister Megan!
When you look up empathy in the dictionary, Megan’s face would be plastered on it like you see it above! I have always looked up to Megan for her ability to always keep her calm and stay gentle towards others in times of struggle or stress. She LOVES a spread sheet and a strict schedule. She loves order and follow through, and she is able to adapt and adjust accordingly!
I know you’re all going to love Megan just as much as I do. She is the calm to my storm, and is ready to be the same to you as you fill your studio with the industries best from the moment to click shop to the moment your package is in your talented paws.
Megan loves to help others. She always has! That is why I originally asked my sister for help with my own PMU buisness Belle and brow. Listen, there are things I’m good at and things I’m not, especially when it comes to business. Megan just so happens to be much better at the things I am not as good at, and we get along really well, so it’s a win win!
She has a deep rooted desire to help others and make others feel good. Before Lazy Sunday, Megan worked in the field of Social Work since she graduated from university in 2013. Her background in social work has helped to prepare her for motherhood! One of the best things that Megan has done with her life is become the mama to two beautiful children - her sweet son and oh so sassy daughter.
Once she got a taste of the beauty industry, she fell in complete love. The connections she created, the joy she found in helping others in a new way, and her ability to get things done in such an efficient and thoughtful way is beyond impressive. Megan takes customer service to a whole new level. It’s incredible watching someone with so much experience get to apply those skills to something she is truly passionate about.
